May 2001 - WTA TOUR Tennis Player of the Month
In junior competition Jelena finished year 1998 as the first tennis player on
the world. In the same year she won US Open single title, double title on Roland
Garros (with Kim Clijsters), played single final of Roland Garros and she was
semifinalist in single of Australian Open and Wimbledon.
